Epoxy Resin/Glass Art

In the last several years, I decided to transcend my artwork and add epoxy resin and acrylic paint to my glass art in creating a variety of themes.

Wavelength

I created this butcher block epoxy resin/acrylic paint art panel I titled “Wavelength” for the bar top for our newly renovated kitchen in our summer cottage in western New York. It truly was a labor of love to do!

Epoxy Resin Coffee Table

This epoxy resin Parota wood coffee table is our latest project completed for our living room. I did the bottom resin coat, layering of clear resin in the cracks & the top clear/light glitter resin coat. John did the heavy & sanding. The coffee table’s dimensions are 55″ x 45″ x 2 1/2″. I named it “Glitter Gulch”! It was truly a joint effort & a labor of love for both of us!

Waves at Sunset Acrylic Paint/Epoxy Resin Triptych Art

I created this Triptych on Butcher Block Wood utilizing a combination of Acrylic Paint and Epoxy Resin to create the wave design in vibrant sunset colors with a little glitter accent. The three 12”x 15 ¾” x 2 ½” wood butcher block acrylic paint /epoxy resin art pieces are unique in their own fluidity!

Seahorses

I created these Seahorses each with a special person in mind.  Each seahorse was created with shard glass or beach glass and/or a combination of both. The brown, green and light blue glass is all beach glass from Lake Erie that my sister-in-law has collected over the years in their beach community, Wide Beach. The little seashells I picked up on our beach on Lake Erie in our community in Angola, and Evangola State Park, New York. All have great meaning and were a joy to create!
