“CENTER FOR SPIRITUAL LIVING – GREATER LAS VEGAS”
When my husband, John Burke and I were contemplating on how to repurpose these stained glass panels, a new name came to me: Transcendence.. the state of excelling or surpassing or going beyond usual limits.
That I believe, is what we’ve done. From our old location to the new. We are transcending, physically, mentally, emotionally and above all spiritually. This is what I see when I look at these three stained glass panels now in their new focal point in the Sanctuary. With the Science of Mind Emblem being in the middle of these panels symbolizes to me that the Science of Mind teachings of Ernest Homes are the center to our continued growth spiritually, mentally and physically in our transcendence in this new space. We are the Center of Spiritual Living, Greater Las Vegas, moving into this new way of being, upward lifting, moving forward to a higher level than we ever were before, and we will continue transcend!
It is my great honor and with profound love to have reinterpreted these “Transcendence” stained glass panels for our beautiful new spiritual home!
“CENTER FOR SPIRITUAL LIVING”
The Center for Spiritual Living has been in exsistence for fifty years. I had the opportunity to donate my time to design and recreate the stained glass windows of their sanctuary as a part of the overall improvement of the church. My objective was to represent the church now and carry it into the future… for at least another fifty years! The Center Panel consists of four panels over six feet each, resulting in completed panel of over 24 feet high. The name of these stained glass windows is “Spiritual Evolvement”.

Faith Community Lutheran Academy
Las Vegas, Nevada
The Fifth Grade Class of 2008 wanted to leave these stained glass windows as legacy to the Faith Community Lutheran Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. Each stained glass panel is five feet tall x 14″ wide. I was honored to be able to be apart of leaving such a gift for future generations to view as symbol of their faith. The stained glass panels of the “Cross”, the “Shepherd” and “Crown” were installed before the last day of class, June 2008.
